Mr. Domonic DeJuan Jones (aka) Domo
April 7, 1990 - August 4, 2021
On Saturday, April 7th, in the year 1990, a beautiful 4-pound, 6 oz. boy was born to Dennis and LaDonna Jones and they named him Domonic DeJuan Jones. Growing up he was loved and protected by his siblings. He and his siblings were part of the "MADE Organization." They were made to go to school, made to say yes ma'am, no ma'am, please and thank you, and they were made to go to Church. This perseverance fostered Domonic's relationship with God, and he accepted Christ at an early age, joining with the True Vine Church where he maintained membership until his passing. Domonic and his mother were extremely proud of his being Captain of The Cadets for Christ, C flight. Domonic began his education at Steed Elementary, attending Carl Albert during his middle and high school years. While in school, Domonic loved sports, especially baseball. While playing basketball he assisted his team in taking State in his graduating year of 2008. Continuing his education Domonic enrolled at Northeastern A & M, transferring to the University of Oklahoma completing Pre-Law requirements and graduating. The Spring of 2011 Domonic crossed the buring sands and became a proud member of the Phi Beta Sigma Lambda Phi Chapter "Blue Legit", who dubbed him "Big Brother Regulator." Domonic was last employed at Will Rogers AP as a Ground Handler/Ramp Agent and Station Trainer (Still regulating we see). Previously he worked in his chosen law profession prior to accepting this position. One of the most significant highlights of Domonic's life was the birth of his son, Khalil Jones, whom he loved with all his heart. An awesome father who knew his son was a gift from God. Domonic was preceded in death by the woman who gave him the gift of his son, Neshele Roach; his paternal grandparents, Melvia Jones and Willard Jones; his maternal grandmother, Lucille Bush and grandfather, Inomis Bush; and Uncle Willard Jones, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son Khalil Jones; parents, Dennis and LaDonna Jones; brothers, Tommy Kenyatta Bush (Annie), Schertz, TX; Johnnie Whiteside, and Dennis Jones, Jr; sisters, Johnesha Whiteside, Juanita Jones, and Denisha Hightower, (all of OKC); along with a host of loving family members and friends. Dennis and LaDonna Jones pray to extend the same love and inclusion that their son gave to each heart that loves his son. It takes a village.
