Mrs. JoElla Beasley

JoElla Beasley journeyed through life leaving footprints of Love, Kindness, and her Faith in the Lord. We have the Blessed Assurance that the Lord has welcomed her home in His care. JoElla “Jo” Beasley was born February 8, 1932, at the family home, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the fourth of five children born to the parents of Bishop Thomas Butler, Sr., and Bernice Nedio Butler. Jo’s passion was cooking; she was an awesome cook! She delighted herself preparing delectable soul food dishes for her family and friends. Her hobbies were bowling and collecting plates. She was very family oriented and enjoyed organizing the Butler-Allen family reunions. The truest joys of Jo’s life were her Lord and Savior, Church, and Family. On October 22, 2017, the Lord’s Angel came to escort her home. JoElla’s life will be celebrated and remembered by her children: Margaret Ward (David), of Oklahoma City, OK; Gregory Beasley (Cynthia), Willingboro, NJ; Kenneth Beasley, Sr. (Dianne), Los Angeles, CA; Theodore Beasley, III, Oklahoma City, OK; Rita Beasley King, Spencer, OK; Kevin Beasley (Teresa), Oklahoma City, OK; Lelar Beasley Dorsey (Kenneth), Hennepin, OK. Sisters: Charlene Harris, Darlene Harris Arnold, and Lillie Faye Harris Davis (Garland), Oklahoma City, OK; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many family members, and friends.
